Snow Snow Snow!!!

The kids (and their daddy) had a great time playing in the snow on Sunday. We had somewhere between 2 and 3 inches at our house. They went in and out 3 times during the morning and there were so many wet clothes for me to wash, but I'm glad they had fun. I stayed in with the boys, although Robby did take them out for a minute on the deck to check it out. I KNOW they are not bundled up in the pics below, but I promise they were only out there about one minute each. Enjoy the pics!

Bundling up for the snow!

Josh and Nate's "6 month pictures"!

Nana, Poppy and I took the boys to Northport on Saturday to have their 6 month pictures made...OK, they were 7 months because I waited too late to schedule appointments:) Kim got some really cute pictures, especially of them individually, but they (i.e. Josh) was not cooperating when it came to getting pictures made with his brother.

Here's a link to her blog with a couple of the pics:

Uncle Scott's Birthday

Scott's birthday was this past Monday, so we celebrated last weekend. We went to Dreamland for dinner (yummy, but messy) and then back to Nana and Poppy's for cake and presents. Happy Birthday Uncle Scott!!!

The menu...all of the grown-ups had ribs...except for Robby.

Scott enjoying the ribs.

Allison and Ansley...I'm not sure why she's so messy, she had PB&J!

Blowing out the candles. I think 29 were missing:)

Mercedes Kids Marathon

This morning we went to Linn Park in downtown Birmingham to watch Emily complete the Mercedes Kids Marathon. Since the fall, her PE class at school has been training and logging their miles during classtime. They complete 25.2 miles during PE class and then can participate in the final mile as part of the Kids Marathon. It was a good day to run, not too hot and not too cold and Emily had a good time and wants to do it again next year. Bailey can participate next year if she wants to, with her Kindergarten class. It was a fun day and Emily did a great job!

Nate before the race...he was very happy today and full of smiles.

Josh before the race...not quite as happy as Nate, but they were both good today.

Emily and Bailey running around in a blur before the start of the race. We were a little too early and they were starting to get bored.

This is the crowd of 2nd grade parents and kids as the 2nd graders were called to line up. There were tons of people there.

The 2nd graders about to start and chanting "2nd grade"...we never found Emily in the crowd, but she was in the last group to start.

The big crash

once when Calerapage WAS SLEEPING OVER (now Mommy is typing), me and Clara Paige were playing my Hannah Montana "guitar hero". It was Clara Paige's turn and I was dancing and I tripped over the cord and in a few seconds there was a big CRASH, KABOOM, KABAM and the TV was on the ground with the big corner broken off, but none of the glass broke, which is very interesting and the TV cord broke and Miss Michele touched in and it shocked her. It was like a big CRASH, KABOOM, KABAM. Everyone was OK.

Bye,
Emily

(Note from Mommy: Luckily no one was harmed in this incident, it could have been a very bad situation.)

*Just added these pics...but please ignore the dust, it WAS on a tall dresser:)
